Many spiritual minded people pursue “enlightenment” as their life’s goal, wasting much time and effort. What they do not realize is that, on the road to spiritual completion, enlightenment is just a beginning, not an end in itself. Enlightenment is recognition of our innate divinity within, and acknowledgement that this is our true nature. Enlightenment is the result of a profound and brave choice to know ourselves as we truly are.
The important thing is not this “knowing” but acting. Life is precious precisely because we have the courage and the will to live our lives as we are supposed to live them, for peace for humanity. Life is precious because it requires us to participate in its creation.
So Ilchi lee often says, Enlightenment is a choice and an action.
One Response to “What does completion mean?”
Thank you, over the past few days, I received several messages. The first was: “BE the change!” and this morning, a second dream… “running away is not the answer, no destination is ‘perfect’. CREATE IT!”
