Internal Ki training is a basic, yet important practice for becoming energized in Dahnhak Ki-gong. With constant daily practice, regardless of our level of training, at some point we suddenly feel an unshakable physical and mental stability, surprising even to ourselves, and cultivate hardy physical and mental strength.
Holding your breath, slowly lower your hands with your fingers extended forcefully like spears pointing toward the ground. Now feel internal Ki from your whole body gathering in your fingers.
Exhaling, straighten your legs, and at the same time extend your fingers forcefully, as if they are spears you are thrusting into the ground. As you do this, gather as much Ki as possible and send it out through your fingers. At this time, you can also count to three and then further focus Ki energy with a yell.
