More need for Brain Education!

Our brain’s potential is infinite. From the evidence of its physiological and psychological architecture, we know that our brain contains vast power that is waiting to be unleashed. Since western civilization’s birth, we have been limiting the brain’s potential by forcing it to use limited modes of expression. These methods have resulted in problems relating to our ability to learn, remember and organize information to our fullest capacity. When we fail in this regard, many of us resort to loss of self-confidence that affects us the rest of our lives. Lifetimes are wasted, simply because people do not have access to the knowledge of how their brains work.

All you bloggers out there…

What is your favorite Ilchi Lee quote?

Here’s one of mine(paraphrased from Human Technology):

“The issues of ‘who am I’ and ‘what is my purpose’ are too precious to be answered by anyone but you.”

Brain Education and my Best Friend

My best friend Taylor is always looking to have fun. Sometimes it is good for him, while of course other times it leads him to too much fun. When I see him, I am so curious what is Healthy Fun. I learned from Ilchi Lee that Healthy Fun is joy, not simply fun to mask our sorrow. True fun…joy comes from our growth. I appreciate this concept of fun as joy of growth because it helps bring the best out of any day whether it is a fun day or not, surely with the right mind we can grow and have a heart full of joy.

Brain and the Family Tree

I was always uncomfortable as to which extent the influence of our genes have on out mental state, patterns of happy and sad and so forth. Always my father is so serious and when he misses the chance to call back he has so much guilt that he doesn’t end up calling until you see him six months later. For my mother, she always has worry and always seemed burdened with a slight sadness about life when I saw her eye. I want to love both parents 100% but I don’t want to take on what they have. In a workshop called Finding Trueself, originated by Ilchi Lee, I was able to see clearly that unconditional love and acceptance not judgement is the way to overcome the issues of family and myself one in the same.

Brain Coordination

I have lost my keys under stress. I have deleted computer files while in a rush and once I even only fertilized half of my lawn (it looked like a zebra) when I was completely out of focus. This sense of OOPS! and mis-coordination in my brain was expected while not in my best mental condition. However in a state of calm many of the exercises applied in Brain Education have left me with a sense of wonderment at my brain’s lack of coordination in mixed movements. With one hand’s finger drawing a triangle and the other drawing a square, I could actually feel my brain’s inability to do two things at once. Two things can be harmoniously coordinating a simple task at hand and at the same time functioning my life in my brain.

Filling Emptiness

One of the greatest things that has inspired me to improve my self with confidence and courage was passed down from Ilchi Lee to my local trainer. The wisdom was, ‘knowing how to accept your loneliness.’ I remembering hearing from Ilchi Lee that it would be easier to fill the whole ocean 10 times then it would be to fill the desires of one person.

Kids and the Power of the Brain

Can you imagine a team of 3 people going up against 50 ten year olds in one afternoon. Quiet never even crossed my mind when I heard the roar of the 50 children walking towards us. But we simply applied 3 things and the training was productive and under control in a positive way for the children’s development of brain awareness. As guidance given by Ilchi Lee we played a game with all 50 children giving them the chance to say 3 things sincerely to each other.

Thank You…and what they are grateful to the person for.

I am sorry…and sincerely share something they felt sorry for.

Can you help me…then they sincerely asked their partners for help.

Life purpose

Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.

Mahatma Gandhi

At first when I read this, I was a little taken aback, but reading it a few times, it is very touching.

No matter how insignificant we are or seem to be, it is so important that we act for our true purpose. No matter if it involves one single person, or one million.

In the greater scheme it will be insignificant anyway, but it truly is so important!

Education

We teach people how to remember, we never teach them how to grow.

Oscar Wilde

Sound like modern education?
